The string damper helps effectively mute overtones and unwanted string resonance while playing. It is very useful for concerts, and especially in the studio, where every unwanted sound can be heard. Each model is designed so that you can adjust how firmly it presses the strings. It is quick and convenient to attach and remove from the guitar.
It is available in four sizes:
- SM (small) - suitable for four-string bass guitars or six-string guitars, acoustic guitars, and ukuleles.
- MD (medium) - suitable for classical, electric, and acoustic guitars and five-string bass guitars.
- LG (large) - suitable for seven and eight-string guitars or six-string bass guitars.
- L (extra large) - ideal for seven to twelve-string bass guitars, Chapman sticks, double basses, and other instruments with extremely wide necks.
