The Tribit StormBox Micro 2 BTS12 Black is an upgraded version of its predecessor, offering several significant technical improvements. While the first version had a power output of 9W, the Tribit StormBox Micro 2 BTS12 Black provides an increased output of 10W, ensuring stronger and clearer sound, especially in the bass range thanks to the improved XBass technology.
The frequency range of 70 Hz to 20 kHz ensures a wide sound spectrum that remains clear even at higher volumes. The main improvement comes with Bluetooth 5.3 technology (compared to Bluetooth 5.0 in the first version), offering a more stable connection with a longer range—up to 36 meters.
Additionally, the second version offers a better battery with a capacity of 4700 mAh, a significant increase compared to the original 2600 mAh. This provides up to 12 hours of continuous playback (compared to 8 hours in the first version) and 30 days in standby mode.
The Tribit StormBox Micro 2 BTS12 Black also functions as a power bank for charging other devices via USB-C, a feature not available in the first version. Moreover, the speaker is equipped with True Wireless Stereo technology, allowing for wireless pairing of two speakers to create a true stereo sound, further enhancing the listening experience.
Water resistance according to the IP67 standard remains unchanged, making the Tribit StormBox Micro 2 BTS12 Black ideal for outdoor activities.
